For LN2 machine, it divided in line such as LINE 1, LINE 2, LINE 3, LINE 4, LINE 5, LINE 6. All the lines have the same machines. The LINE 1 is the important one because its due date to send to customer is near. When the entire machine for LINE 1 is finish and sends to customer. It will switch the same machine at LINE 2 to LINE 1 and same goes for the others Lines . Basically, we have to do the same things for the others machine.

Today, Azeem and I assemble the SEAL machine, this is the one of the LN2 machine.
The function of the SEAL machine is to seal the screw of hard disk. It seal the three screw of hard disk and for the forth screw,had to do manually.

Both the ASDS machine finish already. Therefore, Azeem and I were send to assembly 2 which is at first floor of the company. Assembly 2 is only for LN2 machine.
Then, we were put under the same engineer with one of the unitens student also,Yusuf.
From the start of the industrial training Yusuf already in assembly 2.
Then, the engineer, Mr. John asked me to put the fitting tubing and label it for the one of LN2 machine, its name is WHACK AND PURGE machine (WAP).
Then, connect the Whack 48 VDC power supply wiring. First, i look the drawing for the wiring life, ground and neutral and where the wire had to be connect.

Today is due date for the machine ASDS 22 to send to Western Digital Company. Although the ASDS 22 is only 95% complete, we had to send it. The only left is to teach the stacker robot, stacker spacer robot and to run the software properly.
So, we had to detach the component of the machine same as we had done yesterday and then ship part by part.

Today is the due date for the machine ASDS 21 to send to the Western Digital Company. The technician complete the broken software for the ASDS 21, then ASDS 21 was ready to be ship.
ASDS machine is a big machine, so we had to detach the destacker side, stacker side, shuttle and swapper frame and then ship part by part.
Then, we had to reopen the screw and the clean all the component and wrapping it with the plastic.
After done all that, ASDS 21 is ready to be ship.

Assemble the box for the spacer spud carrier. There are a lot of the box for the spacer spud carrier had to assembled. This is because, all the box for the spacer spud carrier had to send to one of the Genetec customer which is Western Digital.

Solder the wiring for the destacker swapper of the machine ASDS 22. For the stacker swapper i already done earlier. Soldering Destacker swapper also can do earlier but there are component not reach yet which is the bracket for the sensor, i had to wait to solder destacker swapper. we had to put the bracket and tidy up first before solder the wiring inside the destacker swapper.

Assembled the component of shuttle of the ASDS 22. Basically, i assembled the cover for the shuttle. After all the wiring and alignment done, the only component left is the cover for the shuttle. If we assembled earlier cover for the shuttle, it will be hard to alignment the shuttle conveyor.

Alignment the door lock for the enclosure. I tried to close the door but the door not close in the correct position. So, i have to recheck the door lock and alignment it. There are six door lock for one machine, all the door lock have to alignment properly. all the door lock are connected with each other and they are connected with the software in the computer. when the door not close properly, the software detect that and the warning sign pop out to the monitor.

Today, all the trainee have to submit the attendance form to the Human Resource of the company. So, I settle the Attendance form with the supervisor.

My supervisor ask me to clean the media and learn to run the ASDS 21 machine. The technician taught me how to run the the machine. Basically, the machine is run by the software. The software is created especially for this machine. I try to figure it out the setting of the machine. It was interesting.

My supervisor run the shuttle for ASDS 21.This is to make sure that the shuttle run perfectly.
All the components and Module for ASDS 21 is most complete and only left is to teach the movement of the robot to pick up the media and setting the module to run perfectly.

The shuttle for ASDS 21 is almost complete. Then, i focus to shuttle for second machine ASDS 22. I already assembled the component for the ASDS 21, so i have no problem when assembled for the second machine because i already familiar with the components.

My supervisor told us to rearrange the components and modules of the machine because some of the components and modules is mixing each others. Each component and module have to put in their boxes. Therefore, we have to identified the components and modules and put in the their boxes such as swapper module have to put in the swapper box and same goes for others components and modules.

The swapper frame arrived already.
My supervisor asked me to assembled the swapper frame but we having difficulties to assembled that.
This is because, the hole for the screw in the wrong side. Therefore, the swapper frame have to modified in order to get the right hole. After the modified, managed to assembled the swapper frame.

Assembled the accessories of the enclosure.
Then, my supervisor guide me to do the wiring for the swith ON,OFF,EMERGENCY STOP,and EMO. There is Difference EMERGENCY STOP swith and EMO swith. If we push EMERGENCY STOP swith, the machine is not stop immediately while when we push EMO switch, the machine will stop immediately.
First, i have to understand the drawing before do the wiring.

We having difficulty to find the screw because the screw mix in the plastic bag. So, my supervisor give me box to arranged the screw based on their metric size so that easily to find when want use it.

Robot for the 'ASDS 21' machine arrived already. Then, i go to the warehouse to take the robot and put on the machine. One ASDS machine use four robot, two of the robot on stacker side and 2 of the robot on destacker side For information, price for this robot is equal to the price of Proton Waja. Because of this robot is very expensive, i handled this robot very carefully. The picture below is one of the robot called 'Destacker Robot.

Day 5(Friday, 9/4/2010)
I was given the task to do the wiring for the power supply of the machine. I'm very excited to do it. This is the time to apply that i had learned so far. Firstly, i studied the drawing of the circuit on how the wiring in and out from the circuit breaker. If i have a problems, i will refer to the technician who very kindly to help all the trainers. Slowly, i started to do the wiring and i will continue my work this incoming monday.

We inserted the base plate for the 'ASDS 21' first because the base plate for 'ASDS 22' not arrived yet.

The technician taught me how to assemble the wiring. I started to confuse watching a lots of wire with the different colors. Then, the technician taught me to know how to read the drawing of the circuit first before started to assemble the wiring. After that, i started to study the drawing of the circuit. I tried to relate which that i have learned so far and slowly understand all the components, labels of the wire and many more.
