Twelve Week, ( Thursday, 25/6/2010 )

Today is the last day of Industrial Training.

In the morning, Assembled conveyor for LEAK machine


Then, Fill up Tools Requisition and Return Form because to return the tool box back to company.

Trainees have a short briefing by the Human Resource Department, Puan Asnida. She thank you to all the trainees because we improved the production of the company of the past 3 month.

Return the tool box.

Tidy up the tubing for the LEAK machine and put the Label inside the tubing

Solder the Wiring for the blower of the WAP machine

Most of the Machine for the LINE 1 done already and ready to send to customer.

Assembled the part lift inside the conveyor for the LEAK machine and alignment it so that it can extend and retreat the nest precisely.
Try test the part lift using software and adjust the air pressure so that it can extend an retreat the carrier of hard disk correctly

Tidy up wiring for the WAP machine

Alignment conveyor of the SEAL machine so that the hard disk can trough it smoothly.

Try run the movement of hard disk inside the conveyor using software.

Assembled the scanner for LEAK, make sure the scanner in the correct position. This is because to make sure that, the scanner can detect the bar code.

Assembled component part for SEAL machine

Test the movement of hard disk inside the conveyor for the WAP machine using the software

Assembled the sensor in the correct position inside the conveyor for the LEAK machine so that it can detect the hard disk.

Install plastic tubing for SEAL machine, put the fitting inside the tube and then label it.

Eleventh Week, ( Monday, 14/6/2010 )

For LN2 machine, it divided in line such as LINE 1, LINE 2, LINE 3, LINE 4, LINE 5, LINE 6. All the lines have the same machines. The LINE 1 is the important one because its due date to send to customer is near. When the entire machine for LINE 1 is finish and sends to customer. It will switch the same machine at LINE 2 to LINE 1 and same goes for the others Lines . Basically, we have to do the same things for the others machine.

Today, Azeem and I assemble the SEAL machine, this is the one of the LN2 machine.
The function of the SEAL machine is to seal the screw of hard disk. It seal the three screw of hard disk and for the forth screw,had to do manually.

Put the A4 paper for the all LN2 machine so that the engineer and technician can write the status of the machine.

Assemble the camera component for the LN2 machine.

Tenth Week, ( Monday, 7/6/2010 )

Both the ASDS machine finish already. Therefore, Azeem and I were send to assembly 2 which is at first floor of the company. Assembly 2 is only for LN2 machine.
Then, we were put under the same engineer with one of the unitens student also,Yusuf.
From the start of the industrial training Yusuf already in assembly 2.

Then, the engineer, Mr. John asked me to put the fitting tubing and label it for the one of LN2 machine, its name is WHACK AND PURGE machine (WAP).



Then, connect the Whack 48 VDC power supply wiring. First, i look the drawing for the wiring life, ground and neutral and where the wire had to be connect.

Nineth Week, ( Friday, 4/6/2010 )

The biggest machine in the company already send to the their customer.

Today, we had to tidy up all the wiring and tubing and put in the box.



All the drawing had to put in the files.



Rearrange the screw into screw box.

Nineth Week, ( Thursday, 3/6/2010 )

Today is due date for the machine ASDS 22 to send to Western Digital Company. Although the ASDS 22 is only 95% complete, we had to send it. The only left is to teach the stacker robot, stacker spacer robot and to run the software properly.

So, we had to detach the component of the machine same as we had done yesterday and then ship part by part.

Nineth Week, ( Wednesday, 2/6/2010 )

Today is the due date for the machine ASDS 21 to send to the Western Digital Company. The technician complete the broken software for the ASDS 21, then ASDS 21 was ready to be ship.
ASDS machine is a big machine, so we had to detach the destacker side, stacker side, shuttle and swapper frame and then ship part by part.
Then, we had to reopen the screw and the clean all the component and wrapping it with the plastic.
After done all that, ASDS 21 is ready to be ship.

Alignment caddy in conveyor for the machnie ASDS 22.

Learned how to teach the robot using robot controller. i teach the destacker robot. The robot had to teach their movement precisely so that they can pick up the media correctly.

Assemble the box for the spacer spud carrier. There are a lot of the box for the spacer spud carrier had to assembled. This is because, all the box for the spacer spud carrier had to send to one of the Genetec customer which is Western Digital.

Solder the wiring for the destacker swapper of the machine ASDS 22. For the stacker swapper i already done earlier. Soldering Destacker swapper also can do earlier but there are component not reach yet which is the bracket for the sensor, i had to wait to solder destacker swapper. we had to put the bracket and tidy up first before solder the wiring inside the destacker swapper.

Eighth Week, ( Tuesday, 25/5/2010 )

Assembled the component of shuttle of the ASDS 22. Basically, i assembled the cover for the shuttle. After all the wiring and alignment done, the only component left is the cover for the shuttle. If we assembled earlier cover for the shuttle, it will be hard to alignment the shuttle conveyor.

Alignment the door lock for the enclosure. I tried to close the door but the door not close in the correct position. So, i have to recheck the door lock and alignment it. There are six door lock for one machine, all the door lock have to alignment properly. all the door lock are connected with each other and they are connected with the software in the computer. when the door not close properly, the software detect that and the warning sign pop out to the monitor.

Assembled the conveyor for the base of the machine ASDS 22. Usually, the base conveyor have to assemble earlier than the other component. This is because some of the components such as motor, controller card, driver card for the base conveyor is not reach yet so we had to assemble the other components and modules.
