In the morning, all the trainee have to send their attendance sheet today.
Then, i assembled the conveyor for the shuttle of the machnie. There are difference for shuttle conveyor and conveyor on the base of the machine. the difference is shuttle conveyor is more shottter than conveyor on the base of the machine.

Then, my supervisor asked me to alignment conveyor on the base os destacker side so that the conveyor in the right position.

We having difficulty to find the screw because the screw mix in the plastic bag. So, my supervisor give me box to arranged the screw based on their metric size so that easily to find when want use it.
Therefore, we have to label each smaller box first and put the screw inside it. There a lots of screw use for this machine

The technician guide me how to solder the wire in the right method. I have to solder the eight core wire with the flat cable. Slowly, i started solder the wire.

Robot for the 'ASDS 21' machine arrived already. Then, i go to the warehouse to take the robot and put on the machine. One ASDS machine use four robot, two of the robot on stacker side and 2 of the robot on destacker side For information, price for this robot is equal to the price of Proton Waja. Because of this robot is very expensive, i handled this robot very carefully. The picture below is one of the robot called 'Destacker Robot.

Day 5(Friday, 9/4/2010)
I was given the task to do the wiring for the power supply of the machine. I'm very excited to do it. This is the time to apply that i had learned so far. Firstly, i studied the drawing of the circuit on how the wiring in and out from the circuit breaker. If i have a problems, i will refer to the technician who very kindly to help all the trainers. Slowly, i started to do the wiring and i will continue my work this incoming monday.

We inserted the base plate for the 'ASDS 21' first because the base plate for 'ASDS 22' not arrived yet.

The technician taught me how to assemble the wiring. I started to confuse watching a lots of wire with the different colors. Then, the technician taught me to know how to read the drawing of the circuit first before started to assemble the wiring. After that, i started to study the drawing of the circuit. I tried to relate which that i have learned so far and slowly understand all the components, labels of the wire and many more.

Day 3( Wednesday, 7/4/2010)
I settled the trunking part. After lunch time, we inserted Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) inside the machine. Basically the UPS function like a battery. if have a blackout, the UPS will supply the power to the machine.

Then, i assembled the robot stand base. For one machine, there were 4 robots to do the operations. Therefore, there were 4 robot stand base for one machine. Many part of the compenent of the machine not fully arrived yet, so we have to focus on 'ASDS 21' first.

Day 2(Tuesday, 6/4/2010)
Today, I started doing my work. I was given task to assemble the trunking on the base of the machine. The function of the trunking is to put the wiring inside it. At first, I had a difficult time to cut the trunking and then the supervisor taught me how to cut the trunking with the correct way. This is the trunking of the machine.

Day 1(Monday, 5/4/2010)
I woke up early in the morning and arrived at 8.15 am. Actually, I supposed to arrive before 8.30 am, so I arrived 15 minutes earlier. I’m very excited to start my industrial training at GENETEC TECHNOLOGY BERHAD. I went to the lobby of the company and registered my name. After registration, I went to the waiting room of the company to wait for Puan Asnida the manager of HR. When I opened the door, I’m very surprised because most of the trainers from UNITEN. While waiting, we talked to each other. Almost 8.30 am, Puan Asnida arrived and she gave the briefing to all the trainers. Firstly, she talked about the working hours of the company. The company working hours start at 8.30 am until 6.00 pm. Between the working hours, had a lunch break at 12.30 pm until 1.15 pm and a tea break at 3.45 pm until 4.00 pm. While on Friday, for a Muslims we had a break at 12.30 pm until 2.30 pm and no tea- break at 3.45 pm, and for the non- Muslim they follow the same working hours like normal day. She also talked about vision and mission of the company, how much company paid for the overtime work. Lastly, Puan Asnida gave the stickers for the motorcycle and car of the trainers so that we can park inside the company. She also gave two t-shirt of the company to all the trainers and must wear when doing the industrial training and security smart card to access entry of the company.
After finish the briefing session about an hour,we have to wait for Mr. Patrick. Mr. Patrick one of the boss of the company. He divided the trainers to the different machine. Mr. Patrick put me under the AUTO STACKER DESTACKER STATION ( ASDS ).

Offer Letter
I got industrial training placement at GENETEC TECHNOLOGY BERHAD. As you all can see, the picture above is the offer letter from the GENETEC. Before i get the offer, there is an interview conduct by Mr Patrick. During the interview, i'm quite nervous. But lastly i got the placement. I'm very thankful and happy..
